The Venus G Test is a patented device that uses IMS technology to diagnose the three most common forms of Vaginitis: bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis and trichomoniasis. IMS is a sensitive instrumental technique for detecting volatile compounds based on measuring the velocity of ions (ion mobility) drifting through a gas bath under the influence of an homogeneous electric field.
